Services
Every person brings their own experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals to therapy. I therefore offer individual psychotherapy that is tailored to your personal needs, concerns, and circumstances.
My approach combines an empathetic, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic relationship with evidence-based psychological methods. Together, we work to better understand the difficulties you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical and sustainable ways of moving forward.
Depending on your individual needs and therapeutic goals, I draw on a range of established therapeutic approaches, including:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – focusing on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and developing more helpful ways of responding to difficult situations.
-
Schema Therapy – exploring deeply rooted patterns, beliefs, and emotional needs that may have developed through earlier life experiences and continue to influence how you relate to yourself and others.
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – an evidence-based approach that can help process distressing or traumatic experiences and reduce their emotional impact.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – supporting greater psychological flexibility by learning to make room for difficult thoughts and emotions while moving towards what is meaningful and important to you.
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I integrate these methods according to what is most appropriate for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we regularly reflect on your progress and adjust our work as needed.
